Stowabike Compact Folding Bike Review

Stowabike Compact Folding Bike

As a freshmen in college I needed away to get around and since my college didn’t allow freshmen to drive(stupid rule). I bought a Stowabike Compact Folding Bike to ride around campus and get to my classes on time without having to rush in the mornings.

I bought this bike after a few of my other friends bought folding bikes. After trying a few of there folding bikes out I realized that they were just too small for me(I‘m kind of a big guy). I also checked out some full sized folding bikes and thought they were two big. I know I’m starting to sound like goldilocks, but if I’m going to shell out money for a bike as a full time student I wanted to make sure I like what I got.

I finally found the Stowabike compact folding bike online and it seemed perfect, not tiny like your average folding bike and not too big that it would be a pain to fold up and carry around. I bought the bike off Amazon where I believe its called the “Stowabike 20″ City Bike Compact Folding 6 Speed Shimano Bicycle”.

The bike is a littler heavier than my friend little bikes but it also seems a lot sturdier and looks a lot better(not like a little clown bicycle). The bikes gears and brakes work great and I believe are made by Shimano. The bike has held up two semesters and is going strong and I don’t see why it should last me my whole four year stint in this university if not longer.

If you’re a college student you’ll love this bike trust me. Its sturdy, compact, and is nicely price so you wouldn’t break the bank. =)
