Schwinn Hinge Folding Bike Review

Schwinn Hinge folding bike

Schwinn Hinge folding bike locked and folded

I bought the Schwinn Hinge folding bike as a present for my brother’s birthday. I bought a folding bike 6 months ago and ever since my brother has been eyeing it. The main reason I chose the Schwinn Hinge rather than buying a higher end Dahon is because it was more expensive (I‘m cheap I admit it!).

The bike seems very well built and has a sturdy construction. It’s easy to build and easy to fold up. It doesn’t have all the bells and whistles that my Dahon has but then again it also doesn’t have that hefty price tag. My brother seems very pleased with the bike and uses it daily to get to his university classes. He did however end up replacing the bike seat because he didn’t like it, but that’s just him being a princess about thing like he always is.

I should also add I don’t think the bike is good for those that are 250+ pounds plus, I say that because my cousin tried riding it and it looks like it was having a hard time carrying his weight.

The Schwinn Hinge folding bike is defiantly a buy if your looking for an inexpensive entry level folding bike that will last and is made with quality Schwinn parts.
