Okay so I’ve been a be fan of folding bikes for a few years now and have ridden my fair share of bikes. But after having a few of my cheaper models break on my I decided I needed a really nice model that would last and that wouldn’t end up costing me more money down the road by continuously breaking down.

I bought the Dahon Vitesse D7HG folding bike and all I can say is WOW! The quality of this bike is amazing. Not to mention the thoughtfulness that went into creating this bike, I’m very pleased. The Dahon Vitesse comes with gears that can be shifted without pedaling which is a great feature. The gears are also sealed in a gear box so that they wouldn’t grind down from dirt getting on them or rust when you go over puddles and water gets all over your bike. The bike also comes with an air pump that is hidden in the seat. This air pump has comes in handy many times for me! Also the locking mechanism of the Dahon Vitesse locks tightly with magnets, so I don’t have to worry about the bike coming undone when I don’t want it to.

The only thing that disappointed me after getting the Vitesse is that I didn’t get one earlier. Yes, this folding bike is a little bit more expensive than a lot of other folding bikes out there but you get what you pay for. If your interested in a bike that will last you a long time and ride like a champ then your going to have to pay a little more. There a lot of cheap bikes out there but really its going to cost you more in the long run because they don’t last, trust me I know. I highly recommend the Dahon Vitesse D7HG folding bike. it’s a great bike. And if you budget isn’t that high that you can afford the Vitesse, you might want to check out other models made by Dahon, it’s a great company that makes really high quality folding bikes.
