Dahon Boardwalk Folding Bike Review

Dahon Boardwalk Folding Bike

Dahon Boardwalk Folding Bike folded example

The Dahon Boardwalk folding bike is a great inexpensive yet quality bicycle. I bought this bike to commute back and fourth and around campus. The bike is really great for the price and I’m very pleased with it. The bike’s frame is very sturdy and made out of chromemolly. It is a little heavier than some of the other folding bike models that I’ve seen but I also feel like it is also a little tougher and wouldn’t get banged up as easily.

The Dahon Boardwalk is single speed which I have no problem with I’ve been able to take this bike on long rides and it rides smoothly. When I bought the bike online I was a little timid to the fact that I was going to have to assemble it, but the assembly process was very easy. I should add I’ve never really assembled a bike and it only took me 10 minutes to put it together.

One reason I was a bit apprehensive about getting into folding bikes was because of my size. I’m a little bit one the heavy side but even then the Dahon Boardwalk folding bike has no issues carrying my weight. For the money I think the bike is wonderful and is a great buy. If you have more cash laying around there are more expensive folding bikes out there with more gadgets and features but for a simple yet quality folding bike you can’t go wrong with the Dahon Boardwalk.
